"My main ministry within the Church has been teaching," explains Sister, though she has also done vocation ministry and for six years, served her community as the Provincial Superior leading the sisters in their life, work, and spiritual renewal.

Sister believes that as she was growing up, her involvement in the prayer and service programs in both her parish and schools contributed to her considering of religious life. "Prayer and service were also part of my family life. All of these, in addition to the witness of the sisters who taught me, played a part" in her decision to become a sister.
Sister believes that discovering God's hopes for each of us takes time and a willingness to search. "Only God calls, so it is important to spend time in quiet prayer and reflection. God speaks in so many ways and events, so it is [also] important to be involved in the service of others."
Sister Jude Marie has especially enjoyed "sharing my faith in Jesus" and "learning from my students and seeing them grow in knowledge, faith and maturity." She considers her work with young people in liturgical music one of the most interesting experiences of her ministerial life. For her, "It has been a great experience in sharing prayer and developing talent."
For Sister Jude Marie her life journey to and in religious life has been a road on which she has encountered Jesus again and again. "Jesus' Incarnation truly means that He walks among us in our brothers and sisters."
