Volunteer with Good Shepherd at Kateri Day Camp
Kateri Day Camp is situated
on over 250 acres on the Good Shepherd convent property.
It provides a safe and wholesome country setting for at-risk,
financially disadvantaged and handicapped children to attend
summer camp. Children, ages 5-13, from diverse social and
cultural backgrounds, enjoy cooperative games, sports, music,
arts and crafts, field trips and nature study designed to
promote self-respect, respect for others and for all living
things. As a volunteer you will work one-on-one, supervise
and assist a child with special or diverse needs. You will
have the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a young
person. |
